Project Description
Focused on the commercial and retail sector, Constructora Parque Central (CPC) used to design, project management and build stores in different cities of Colombia for a repeated client, the French multinational hypermarket chain Carrefour.
In 2005 CPC was appointed to assist as a consultant and subsequently build a shopping centre in the north of Bogota. Santa Ana shopping centre was an innovative commercial option for the local consumers of the area where they could find prestigious brands within a friendly atmosphere. The glassed and metal clad facades evolve a business lead journey ramp that delivers at the top level where, for first time in Colombia, the traditional food hall was transformed into eight gourmet restaurants with panoramic views from the outdoor terraces to the eastern hills and the city.
As a result of the success achieved in Santa Ana, CPC was commissioned to complete the detail design and construction of Jardin Plaza shopping Centre in Cali. Jardin Plaza is located in a commercial area of the city, with a floating population of mostly high socioeconomic level. It has 247 stores, 28 kiosks, 24 restaurants and 2500 parking spaces.
